RootLogic has a dedicated Tasks view that shows everything assigned to you across all contacts in one place — make it your first stop every morning.
1
Click "Tasks" in the left sidebar
In the left navigation, look for Tasks (it may appear as a checkmark or clipboard icon). Clicking it opens your full task list — all tasks assigned to your user, across every contact in the system.
2
Review tasks by due date — overdue items appear at the top
The task list sorts by due date. Any tasks that are past due show at the top, often highlighted in red. Scan these first — these are follow-ups you committed to that haven't happened yet.
3
Click any task to jump directly to the contact
Each task entry shows the contact's name, the task title, and the due date. Click the contact name in the task row to open that person's contact record directly — so you can pull up their notes and history before you call.
Pro tip: Make the Tasks view your opening screen every morning. A quick 2-minute scan tells you exactly who needs a callback today and why. Practices that treat the task list as a daily priority consistently outperform those that work off memory or sticky notes.
Important: The Tasks view shows tasks assigned to YOUR user login. If you need to see all tasks across the team, an admin can filter by assignee. Make sure tasks are assigned to the right person so nothing goes unworked.
