Where is the Contacts page and what does it show me?
The Contacts page is your master database of every person who has ever interacted with your practice — understanding what's here makes it much easier to track down a lead, pull up call history, or update someone's information.
1
Find Contacts in the left sidebar
Click the person icon labeled "Contacts" in the left navigation sidebar. It's usually the second or third item in the menu, just below the Dashboard. This opens the full Contacts list view.
2
The list view shows your full contact database
You'll see every contact in your system — name, phone number, email address, the date they were created, and their current tags or pipeline stage. By default, it sorts by most recently added. You can have hundreds or thousands of contacts here, spanning current leads, past inquiries, and former patients.
3
Click any contact name to open their full record
Clicking a contact's name opens their individual record, which shows all their personal details, any active pipeline opportunities, their complete message history (texts, emails, calls), notes your team has written, and an Activity feed showing everything that's happened with this person in chronological order.
4
Use the search bar and filters to find specific contacts
At the top of the Contacts page there's a search bar. Type a name, phone number, or email address to filter the list instantly. You can also use the filter button to narrow by tags, date ranges, or lead source — useful when you're looking for a specific group of contacts rather than one person.
Pro tip: The Contacts page is the right place to go when you're looking for a past lead or someone who called the office but never made it into the pipeline. Even if their opportunity card was deleted, their contact record stays here permanently.
