RootLogic Getting Started
Getting Started

What am I looking at when I first log in? (Dashboard overview)

A quick orientation so you can find the tools you'll use every day without hunting through menus.

1
The left sidebar is your main navigation
When you log into RootLogic at app.gohighlevel.com, you'll see a dark vertical sidebar on the left side of the screen. This is your navigation bar. It contains icons (and sometimes labels) for every major section: Dashboard, Conversations, Contacts, Opportunities (your pipeline), Calendar, and more. Click any icon to go to that section.
2
The main Dashboard shows your high-level numbers
The default home screen shows metric cards like total leads, opportunities by stage, conversations, and revenue pipeline. These numbers reflect whatever date range is currently selected (usually this month by default). Think of it as a quick snapshot — not where you work leads, just where you check the scoreboard.
3
The Conversations tab is your real-time inbox
Click the speech bubble icon in the left sidebar to open Conversations. This is where all inbound texts, emails, and voicemails show up in one unified view. Any time a lead replies to a message or submits your chat widget, it appears here. Most front desk coordinators keep this tab open all day alongside the pipeline.
4
The Opportunities tab is your pipeline board
Click the grid or kanban icon in the sidebar to open Opportunities. This is your lead pipeline — the board with columns for Lead Received, Hot Lead, Consult Booked, After Hours Chat, and Procedure Booked. Every lead from your ads lives here. This is where you'll spend most of your working time in RootLogic.
5
The bell icon shows recent activity and notifications
In the top-right area of the screen, you'll see a bell icon. Click it to see a recent activity feed — new leads, replies, calendar events, and system notifications. Your profile avatar or initials are also in this area, which you click to access your profile settings or log out.
