Which tasks should I do on desktop vs. mobile?

Knowing when to use each tool prevents mistakes — especially when booking consults, which must always happen through the desktop calendar flow.

1
Always use desktop for booking consult and procedure appointments
Booking through the calendar in RootLogic is what triggers your automated follow-up sequences and moves the opportunity card to the right pipeline stage with the correct value. This must be done on desktop using the calendar booking flow — not by dragging the card on mobile. Dragging a card (whether on mobile or desktop) bypasses all the automation.
2
Always use desktop for writing notes after a call
Notes are best written on desktop where you have a full keyboard, the contact's conversation history visible, and room to write something useful. After every call, open the contact record on desktop, click the "Notes" tab, and type what you discussed, any objections, what was agreed on, and the next step. Do this while the call is still fresh.
3
Use desktop for reviewing a lead's full history before calling
Before calling a lead back, open their contact record on desktop and review the full Conversations tab — every text, email, and call log is there. The Lead Connector app shows a condensed view and may not display the full thread. You want the full picture before you dial.
4
Use mobile (Lead Connector) for alerts and quick replies only
The Lead Connector app shines for two things: getting push notifications the moment a new lead hits your pipeline, and sending a brief text reply when you're stepping away from your desk. If a new lead notification comes in and you're not at your computer, send a quick "Thanks for reaching out — I'll be calling you in just a moment" text from the app, then get to desktop to handle the rest.
Important: Never drag pipeline cards on mobile. The same drag-and-drop rule that applies on desktop applies on the app — only drag to "Hot Lead." For Consult Booked and Procedure Booked, always use the calendar booking flow on desktop.
