How do I respond to a Google review through RootLogic?

Responding to reviews directly from RootLogic publishes your reply to Google instantly — no need to log into Google Business Profile separately.

Go to Reputation → Reviews
Click Reputation in the left sidebar, then select the Reviews tab. You'll see a list of all Google reviews for your practice, sorted by most recent first.

Find the review and click Reply
Locate the review you want to respond to. Each review card shows the reviewer's name, star rating, date, and review text. Click the Reply button at the bottom right of the review card to open the response text field.

Type your response and keep it personal
Write your response in the text field. Use the reviewer's first name, thank them for their feedback, and keep the response to 2–4 sentences. Avoid generic copy-paste responses — Google's algorithm and future patients both notice when every reply is identical.

Click Submit to publish to Google
Once you're happy with the response, click the Submit button. RootLogic posts it directly to your Google Business Profile. The response typically appears on Google within a few minutes. The review card in RootLogic will update to show your reply below the original review text.
Important: Never include patient names, treatment details, or any health-related information in a public review response. Even if the patient mentioned their condition in their review, your response must not confirm or reference any health details. This is a HIPAA requirement.
Pro tip: Aim to respond to all reviews within 24 hours. For positive reviews, a short warm response goes a long way. For anything below 4 stars, see the negative review handling article before you type a word.
