I dragged a lead to Consult Booked instead of using the calendar. How do I fix it?

Dragging to Consult Booked bypasses automations and leaves the opportunity value at $50 instead of $500 — here's how to correct it before it corrupts your Google Ads data.

1
Drag the card back to Lead Received immediately
In the pipeline view, drag the opportunity card back to the Lead Received column. This reverses the incorrect stage move. Do this before doing anything else — the goal is to reset the card to its pre-error state so the correct booking flow can fire properly.
2
Open the contact record and book through the calendar
Click on the opportunity card to open it, then click the contact's name to open their full contact record. Find the Calendars section or click Book Appointment from the actions menu. Select the correct calendar (In-Person Consultation), choose the date and time, and complete the booking. This is what triggers the automation and updates the opportunity value to $500.
3
Confirm the opportunity value updated to $500
After completing the calendar booking, go back to the pipeline and find the card — it should now appear in Consult Booked automatically. Click the card and confirm the opportunity value shows $500. If it still shows $50, the booking may not have completed correctly — try the booking process again from step 2.
4
Verify the patient received a confirmation text or email
Go to the Conversations tab for the contact and confirm an appointment confirmation message went out. If no confirmation was sent, it means the automation did not fire correctly — reach out to your VMMG account manager to investigate.
Important: The opportunity value ($50, $500, $9,100) is what Google Ads and Meta use to measure the return on your ad spend. A Consult Booked that shows a $50 value instead of $500 tells the ad algorithms that consultation bookings are worth the same as a cold lead — this corrupts targeting over time. Fix these errors the same day they happen.
