How do I rebook a no-show patient?

Rebooking a no-show uses the same calendar booking flow as a new appointment — this is important because it's the only way RootLogic correctly updates the pipeline and sends the right reminders.

1
Open the contact record for the no-show patient
Go to Contacts in the left sidebar and search for the patient's name or phone number. Click their name to open their contact record.
2
Click the blue "+" button to add a new appointment
Inside the contact record, scroll to the Appointments section on the right side and click the + Add Appointment button (or the blue "+" icon next to the section header). This opens the booking modal.
3
Select the calendar, date, and time
In the booking modal, choose the correct calendar (e.g., the doctor or consultation type), then select a date and available time slot. The calendar will only show open slots based on your configured availability.
4
Confirm and save the appointment
Click Save or Book Appointment. RootLogic will create the new appointment, move the pipeline card back to Consult Booked automatically, and trigger the pre-appointment reminder sequence for the new date. The patient will receive a confirmation text and/or email.
5
Write a note about the rebook
Add a quick note to the contact record — something like "No-show 6/23, rebooked for 6/28 at 10am. Patient said scheduling conflict." This gives any colleague covering the desk context when the patient calls or shows up.
Important: Never drag the pipeline card back to Consult Booked manually after a no-show. Always use the calendar booking flow — dragging bypasses the automation and the confirmation/reminder messages won't fire for the new appointment.
