Can I change my notification preferences?

Yes — you can control which events trigger alerts and whether they come through in-browser, by email, or via the Lead Connector mobile app.

1
Open your personal profile settings
Click your profile avatar or initials in the bottom-left corner of the RootLogic sidebar. Select "Profile" from the menu. This opens your personal settings page — changes here only affect your account.
2
Navigate to the Notifications section
On your Profile page, scroll down until you see the "Notifications" section. You'll see toggles for different event types: new conversations, new leads, appointment reminders, missed calls, and unread messages. Turn on the ones you want to be alerted for and turn off the ones that aren't relevant to your role.
3
Choose your delivery method for each notification type
For most notification types, you can select Email, In-app (browser), or both. If you use the Lead Connector mobile app, push notifications for that app are configured separately inside the app itself — see the Lead Connector notification troubleshooting article if those aren't working.
4
Save your changes
Click the Save button at the bottom of the Notifications section. Your preferences take effect immediately — no logout required.
Important: Notification preferences are per-user. If a colleague isn't receiving alerts, they need to check their own profile settings. There is no practice-wide notification on/off switch — each team member controls their own.
Pro tip: At minimum, make sure "New Lead" and "New Unread Conversation" notifications are on for everyone who handles front desk coverage. Missing a new lead alert because notifications were off is an avoidable and costly gap.
