RootLogic Settings

Where are the Settings in RootLogic?

Settings live in two different places depending on whether you're changing your personal preferences or practice-wide configuration.

1
Find the main Settings area (practice-wide)
Look for the gear icon (⚙) at the very bottom of the left sidebar. Click it to open the main Settings panel. This is where practice-wide configurations live: business information, phone numbers, calendars, team members, integrations, and business hours. Changes made here affect everyone using your RootLogic account.
2
Find your personal profile settings
Click your profile avatar or initials in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar — below the gear icon. This opens your personal account settings: your name, email, password, time zone, and notification preferences. Changes here only affect your own login, not anyone else's.
3
Know which settings require Admin access
Some settings sections — like adding or removing team members, editing phone numbers, or changing calendar configurations — are only visible if you have Admin-level access. If you click the gear icon and see a limited menu, your account is set to Staff role. Ask your practice administrator or contact your VMMG account manager to adjust your permissions if needed.
Important: Never contact GoHighLevel directly with settings questions. All support requests go through the RootLogic portal request form or your VMMG account manager. GoHighLevel is the software platform behind RootLogic — your support contact is VMMG, not GHL.
Pro tip: Bookmark the Settings page directly in your browser once you find it. The gear icon is small and easy to miss, especially on a smaller screen.
