How do I update the practice's contact information?

Your practice name, address, phone number, and website in RootLogic appear in automated messages and confirmation emails sent to leads — keep them accurate.

1
Open Settings from the left sidebar
Click the gear icon (⚙) at the bottom of the left sidebar. You need Admin-level access to edit practice information. If the option isn't visible, contact your practice administrator or your VMMG account manager.
2
Click "Business Info" or "Business Profile"
In the Settings left-hand navigation, select "Business Info" (sometimes labeled "Business Profile"). This page contains your practice name, address, phone number, website URL, and business email — the fields that appear in outbound communications to leads and patients.
3
Edit the fields that need updating
Click into any field to edit it directly. Common updates include the practice phone number (if you've added a new line), the address (if you've relocated or added a location), and the website URL. Make your changes carefully — the practice name and address appear in SMS messages and appointment confirmations that go directly to leads.
4
Save your changes
Click Save at the bottom of the Business Info page. Changes take effect immediately for all future outbound communications. Existing automated messages already queued will not be retroactively updated.
Important: If you're changing the practice's main tracking phone number (the number leads call when they respond to ads), contact your VMMG account manager before making that change. Phone number changes in RootLogic can affect call routing and call recording setup.
Pro tip: Any time your practice moves, adds a location, or changes its main phone number, update RootLogic within the same week. Appointment confirmation texts with an old address create confusion and cancellations.
